All this time, the creatures of Penori have been living in a small valley nestled between large mountains that surround their home like an oversized rock wall, caging them from the outside world. Of course, no one has ever left the valley before. No one has ever felt the need to do so. Until now. The curse has been spreading, and two shifters set out on a journey out of the valley. Here, they find lands of many different creatures, even some with shifting abilities like themselves. The Mists of Penori has been expanded to include a bigger setting outside of the small valley of Penori, as well as many different new creatures you can roleplay. You can choose to join the animal kingdom or the humanoid kingdom. Live among the beasts, or the elves. (faeries, vampires, dwarves, etc.)
The land of Penori is situated in a valley that is protected by a magic 'shield' that does not allow humans to find the place nor enter by accident. Due to the magic properties of the land, the variety of weather and terrain abound.

Animal Kingdom (The Valley):
North:
The coldest of all the regions, the winters last longer and the summers are briefer. It is not uncommon for snows to linger on into the summer months or to even snow or grow colder in times when it should be warmer.
South:
The hottest of the regions, the summers cling with warm grips and chase away the cold of winter. Even in the winter time it may stay warm and very little snow falls; and when it does it is not uncommon for it to melt off quickly.
East:
A temperate zone, really, with just about equal summer and winter lengths. The climate is more wet and humid, but the vegetation greener.
West:
A temperate zone with equal season lengths, but dryer and warmer than in the east. They get less rainfall and the vegetation is tough for enduring the times of drought, usually lacking the vibrant colors of the east. Deserts are common.
I've been thinking about this for awhile. I'm serious considering shutting MoP down. I'm terrible, I know, But I feel like there is so much work to be done on MoP and I don't have the time or gumption to do any of it. It's nobody's fault, so I hope nobody feels guilty. And I haven't decided yet, just leaning towards it. I guess I didn't want it to be a total shock...I don't know...:(

Another thing, is questing for wolves (and eventually big cats). Until I figure out what's going on for that, if your canine character wants a quest or wish, please PM Halo to just request, for now.
Who Can We Count On? Activity checks are posted here. PCs may be deleted if you do not check in and your herds or packs can be challenged if you are gone to long w/out letting us know.
