Scamp was a bit on the small side, that was true, but that did not mean that he could do just as much as any other stallion that is bigger than him. He snorted as he entered the territory, he was looking for the king of this place. It seemed appropriate enough. He neighed loudly, a challenging neigh that he knew would get the king's attention. I mean, if someone was going to challenge him then he'd definitely show up but if some small stallion told him that he was here to talk then he would just laugh. Scamp was smart, he knew how to do this his way and get what he wants without having to push the king too far or get himself hurt. He could be loyal and obedient but that didn't mean he would be nice about it and it didn't meant that he would make it easy for whoever he was serving either, he tended to make it as hard as he possibly could sometimes, just for the sake of it. He didn't stop so that he could stand and wait for the king to come to him, no, he wasn't an idiot. He kept walking, so that he might find the king before the king finds him.

Oh, Joker heard him alright. As the first notes of the cry hit his ever-rotating satellites his head went up and eyes turned wrathfully in the direction of the challenging steed. A loud and angry snort burns through his nostrils, breathing out literal smoke in twin plumes that dissipate into the air at the slight touch of a breeze. Without a backwards thought, the larger stallion moves his pistons into a swift two beat, pumping with boundless energy until they automatically hasten into an even lope, posture high and ears pinned back against his skull.
Nobody is taking his kingdom away from him without a fight. Nobody will see Joker, the King of the Highlands to be any sort of a coward.
He sights the smaller stallion and slams on the brakes just before ramming into his side, a sort of warning before striking like a snake for his teeth to search for a bite of flesh. His whole essence is set on the edge as he trots around to Scamp’s front to rear and kick out at him with his fores, coming down with heavily with a stomp of each front weapon. “You’re trespassing on my[/b] terra, you know,” he grinds out venomously, his whole form bristling with aggression. ~Joker

Scamp saw the stallion coming towards his side, he braced himself, planting his legs widely apart and making sure they wouldn't slide out from under him or anything like that. He tensed, ready for the impact of the much larger stallion. When the stallion hit him Scamp just stood there and took it with a smirk on his face. His plan had worked, he had gotten the king here, in record time he might have to ad. He knew this routine pretty well, even if they didn't all do the same thing. Scamp noticed that the stallion was going to try and bite. He back up quickly, lowering himself strategically so that he could be lower than the stallion would anticipate. At least that way he would miss, one of the things that Scamp least enjoyed was when they actually caught hold of his flesh between their teeth. He didn't mind the rest of it so much. Scamp stood patiently just out of reach of the large stallion's front hooves as he reared up and striked out. Scamp could be very patient. When the bigger stallion finally stopped and came down to the earth before kindly informing Scamp of the fact that he was trespassing Scamp just smiled at him in an amused and testing sort of way. "I'm well aware of the fact I'm trespassing, thank you very much." He told him in a calm and even voice that had a hint to it that suggested the big stallion didn't seem to be one of the smartest around. "I came to discuss something with you, and to offer you my service." He told him, still having the same tone of voice. His gaze stayed on the stallion in front of him, he didn't want to be taken by surprise if the stallion decided to strike out again. He waited for a reaction, not expecting much but expecting something.

The expression on Joker’s face is less-than trusting. It’s apparent he believes this to be some sort of trick, a trap for him to step unwittingly into. But he won’t let himself be fooled that easily, he’s not as stupid as this fellow would probably like him to be. A low growl rumbles in his throat and he bares his teeth bad temperedly, his gazed fixed on a glare. “Service, huh?” His anxiousness wants him to pace but he forces himself to stand still and strong, head lifted. “Well, I’m listening so start talking before I lose interest,” he snaps. Stupid hot-head. That’s okay, the king is sure he can deal with the chump and take whatever he can dish out. One of the voices warns him to be careful not to be so overly confident but he mentally bats it away, much to the voice’s grumbling and protesting. ~Joker (OOC: Sorry…my mind blanked. )

Satisfied that the king was now listening he smirked, his expression was one of pleasure at himself. "Threats won't make me talk faster, you'll just have to be patient with me." He told the king, pausing for effect and so that he might be able to get out of the way if the king decided to react badly to his words. But, he wasn't going to waste too much time because he wanted to get this done. "The service that I can offer you is something that might make life easier for you, depending on how many slaves you own." The last part was more of a question than a statement, and it was said in a way that suggested he would judge the king depending on how many slaves he had. "You see, I'm what some call a slavedriver. And I'm very good at what I do, I can make sure that all slaves know their place and do what they're told. I would not take advantage of the slaves unless you personally allow me to, because after all, they will be your slaves not mine." He knew that the king probably didn't have to have a slavedriver but many of them seemed to enjoy not having to take care of their own slaves. Just leave in the the capable hooves of someone else and go your own merrily unpleasant way. Scamp waited, watching the king with a patient expression, he still had a smirk on his face though.

Joker snorts and eyes this fellow skeptically. What a strange proposition. He’s never heard of anything like it and it seems odd. But not an altogether unappealing offer, either. If his herd grows as he expects it to then unwanted chores could get in the way of the attention on his more desired activities. Part of him likes the idea, batting aside other opinions chattering in his head. “I admit I’ve never heard of such an idea,” he begins, not seeming at all irritated by the stallion (he’s having a patient day...).
“But not half a bad one,” he says with a light shrug, his temper seeming to have cooled down after so much contemplating had distracted him away from it. That might irritate him later, but he doesn’t have enough room for such a thought. “Your offer is accepted, then,” he bobs his head in agreement with himself, one hind stomping for no plausible reason but to make a little noise on the ice beneath the dusting of snow. ~Joker

Hearing that his offer was accepted a grim smile appeared on his facades as he watched the stallion calmly. "My offer includes that I might go out and find you mares to serve you, but only with your permission of course. And I will always come and show them to you so that you may choose whether you want them or not." He told the stallion, just wanting to be sure that he knew everything that Scamp was offering him. Scamp was eager to get started with his job though, he wanted to go out and find some slaves to boss around because he was only ever happy if he could cause pain to others. It was just the way that he had been born and would probably forever be. He couldn't help it and neither could anyone else.
ooc: Soz, terribly post.

Who could turn down a slave, Joker’s not sure, but he guesses there have been occurrences and that’s not really an issue at this moment. He allows a moment of pause as if he’s thinking, but really the dark king has found nothing to put thought into. Then he adds a short nod in the other stallion’s direction, permission granted to him to do as he pleased with his words. And seeing his eagerness, Joker takes a step in a direction away from Scamp, eying him with a raised brow. “You may go now, if you wish,” he says, motioning with his eyes towards whatever freedom would please the brute, a smirk dancing on the violet beast’s lips. ~Joker
(OOC: Dun worry 'bout it. Mine ain't good either.)

OOC: That's fine. Uhm. I guess it really doesn't matter. You can bring someone back to a herd from anywhere in Penori from Greenway Meadow to...wherever!
