’You coming or what?’ she had called to him playfully and with a chuckle he had bound forward and past her at a light run, turning to trot sideways so as to watch for her. When he was sure of the fae was following he had resumed the direction towards his home in the east. The sun is about completely gone, the last tinges of orange dusting the horizon, when they reach Symphony Falls, the moonlight begins to dance like white fire on the river running through the meadow and setting the waterfall and its mists aglow in an ethereal light.
The newfound darkness does not deter Jynxed Halo from the run that had brought him here, unworried at all about snagging his foot on an obstacle. He has come to know his lands by heart, could run around here with his eyes closed probably, he might boast, and still be upright by the time it was through. But for Fantasy’s sake he slows to a walk and finally a stop, a light dampness on his coat from the exertion of the race here but his breath easy and tamed.
His bright eyes turn to regard her with a smile about his features. “Welcome home, Fantasy,” he greets with a good-natured bob of his head and an excited flick of his tail. “The river ends in the most beautiful waterfall over that way and if you go down the hill there is a forest full of all sorts of trees.” Oh, it is no secret that Halo is proud of his kingdom. It is a beautiful place and he wouldn’t trade it for anything different. ~Jynxed Halo

A wide smirk played across the ivory mare's velvet lips and with a flick of her glossy tail, Fantasy was cantering off towards Jynxed Halo. A few times, the mare would stop and take a small peek at the beautiful moonlit sky, but then she would run off and catch up to her new lead stallion. Even though she had been traveling all day, Fantasy still loved the feeling of running around and letting her mane whip across her neck.
It wasn't until it the sun disappeared that Fantasy had to slow it down. Jynxed Halo might know the lands by heart but she had no clue where she was. A few times she stumbled on an unseen rock or a tree branch would scrape across her flanks. Luckily, it was just a few scrape and nothing actually broke through a layer of flesh. Once Jynxed Halo slowed down to a speed she could handle without hurting herself, Fantasy stopped and took a few seconds to catch her breath. By now, her white coat had a mixture of brown and sweat was caked in certain areas. A bath would probably do good, but she could wait until morning.
Now that the two equines were officially stopped, Fantasy decided to take that time to admire the view. Chocolate brown eyes stared in wonder at the surreal lands that stood before the dazzled mare. Symphony Falls really was a magical place. The view itself was breathtaking and Fantasy could actually picture herself happy here. Maybe she really would make this a permanent home. "Wow. Your herd truly amazes me. It's simply gorgeous and the grazing looks especially good. Now, just curious, is there any place where I could possibly take a bath?" Fantasy asked curiously. Usually, she would just bathe in whatever water source was available but some herds refused to let their water be tempered with. Hopefully, this wouldn't be the case because it would be dreadful to have to present herself to the herd in this state.

Jynxed Halo smiles, silently prideful of her like for his terra, his kingdom, because her opinion matters. Everyone’s opinion matters to him and this new one is of no exception. And he especially likes the ones that agree with him. The thought makes him a little giddy and he has to force down a childish giggle as he flicks his head to flip his bangs from his eyes. “I’m glad you like it,” he whispers quietly as if it might be some big secret that she isn’t supposed to know.
Then she asks about a place to bathe and he thinks he understands. Though he would never say anything, he’s too much of a gentleman like that, traveling all day naturally gives one a rumpled appearance. That goes for a stallion or mare, so he is not trying to discriminate in any way. So he only smiles and looks towards the river, the spark of a show-offy spirit igniting in his chest so that he lifts his head high and practically prances in the direction of the running water.
Oh, he doesn’t have to go about it this way. Heck, he cares little for the fact that some might take a bath in his river or in the lack below the falls. But if he just let her do that, then how could he show off for a pretty lady? (Besides, he has to practice, right?) He stops at the edge of the sandy bank, looking back at Fantasy subtly to see if she is watching and then turning away quickly in the hopes that she wouldn’t have noticed. Then he gets down to the business of some earth bending.
Lifting himself up onto his hinds, he lurches forward a little and into the shallows, the silt on the river bed swirling upon his fores but the earth shifting and giving way beneath his command, splitting forth through the opposite bank. With a nod the small, filling pool deepens and with a twist of his neck to the left the neck that connected the river and the pool closes to form an individual body of water...just for Fantasy. The Lord looks back at the mare and smiles. “How about that?” he asks. ~Jynxed Halo
(Such a show off…^_^ Has to impress ‘his new lady’.)
