At first the male looked at her strangely. He had no idea what she was talking about until she found the correct word that she was looking for. It was then that the male smiled and responded to her. "I have a couple of other members to my pack thus far. This pack is new here in this part of the land but I do not think that our small numbers will last for to long." He led her to the pantry where he nudged a deer leg in her direction. "Eat. You'll need your strength. The water from the fall is fresh so you can drink that." Arc nodded toward the falling water knowingly. It was the best water around.
The male then took a seat and watched the female with curious eyes. Then again he spoke. "But I am Head Guardian of all of the Packs of The Mists of Penori and so I am leader to many." Arc usually didn't like to flaunt his Rank but perhaps he did it this time because he wanted her to know just what she was getting herself into and that she wasn't sitting in the presence of some mere lacky.

I nodded, eating the deer quietly. It was good, not like the meerkats we caught on the plains. It had a more stronger taste, like the forest. It was good. I laughed a little as he stated his rank. "I figured as much, Arc." I said, my eyes sparked with amusement. "You hold yourself very proudly. You have lots to be proud of." I was small and slender, it didn't take much deer to fill me. Sitting down, I tried to spark up a conversation. "What are your pack members names?"

Arc thought that it was amusing that she wished to know about his pack members and their names. Really he didn't know why but it just struck a funny bone within him. She was inquisitive. Arc liked that.
Softly he cleared his throat and then gave her an award winning grin. "Well so far there are three members. There names are Twilight Aurora, Aleisyanna Valore and Nightling, who's Twilight's mate. And now you Laurel."
It made Arctic happy to think that his pack was growing...

(You forgot Iris  ) Laurel nodded. "That's a mouthful. Aleisyanna Valore . Does she have a nickname?" She smiled, she wouldn't like saying that name too much.. her accent would mess it up, she would sound like a retarded wild dog. "Aleisyanna Valore..." She said again, Trying to get the grip of it just in case there was no nickname. ((Sorry, I can't post well today....)) |

Arc grinned when the femme attempted to pronounce Alei's name. He answered her accordingly. "I usually call her Alei." The tone in his voice held an abundant amount of affection as he spoke her name. Arctic didn't even realize that he did this as his mind envisioned Alei's beautiful face.
He then turned to the female once more before taking his leave. "We will work on seeing what rank you will hold in the pack. My idea is to find out what suits each member and what their desire is and then we will do accordingly. I will do this by watching and talking with you. For now though you can move about the land and meet the other members on your own accord. If you are in trouble please don't hesitate to let out a howl. We have many beautiful CT landmarks to explore."
The male began to walk to the opening of the cave. Soon he disappeared through it but not before saying one more thing to the femme. "Welcome to the Celestial Terrace pack. I'll take my leave now. I must hunt in order to keep my pantry stocked. If you get bored you can do this as well. It would be very much appreciated." Mysteriously the Alpha disappeared. At times his pack would wonder how he could vanish into thin air but the truth of the matter was that he has 'universal power'. |
