He had done it. This land was his, fairly come by. And now the biggest challenge ever, getting the three mares and the two foals used to each other. Sequin and Mozart were accquainted, ahh Mozart. But Aurora had met neither them and he didn't want any mare offended by his queen choice. Mozart was the perfect mare for him.
He stepped deeper into the territory, allowing his scent to slowly change from its accustomed darkness to more neutral and a bit lighter. He was not dark anymore, not even close but he was planning on bringing two light mares here, he wondered about their reactions.
But Aurora was a neutral, a blind mare but with amazing soul seeing powers and a personality that was both attractive and firm. She was strong and independent and was not a quitter, he liked that. And she wasn't bad looking either, an unexpected bonus, he wasn't complaining.
Still Mozart, he was sure, was the mare for him, the way she walked, the way she talked, her personality and her attitude. She also had a bit of knowledge in medicine which was quite valuable in this world of perils.

..-*Aurora grumbled with herself as she walked towards her new lands. How on earth was she able to do this! She ad tripped twice now. But finally she was getting close. Aurora looked up, and called upon her power. A tinge of bright blue entered her silver orbs, and she was able to see horses aura's. A power so useful for an sightless mare. She looked around, then saw him. She reconized Twilight's Darkness's aura immediantly. She trotted to him, then let go off her power, when she was about two feet away. "Twilight's Darkness..." She greeted softly.
..-*She nodded softly to him, all her blindess returning now. And waited for him to reply.

The dark shaded mare feels gratefulness for having a home, though she would never voice her appreciation, too shy and reserved in her ways. The smile she offers in its place is small and fleeting. And now she stands to the side, watching the other two mares as they enter the new terra of their Lord, studying curiously but not daring to make the first step to approaching. Sequin is worried about how she will be taken or what response she might receive from this new mare. The fae is somewhat accustomed to Mozart, though still a little leery for the jealousy she had displayed back at the watering hole. So she hesitates in making her acquaintance.
Her two young ones seem to be having no problem adapting as they romp around, shrieking and giggling playfully as they bound around the area. They seem fearless and somewhere inside the dam has a twinge of envy for their bravery. Papercut leads a jog in Aurora’s direction, Knives following shortly after her like a loyal shadow. The filly offers a short nicker in the new mare’s direction, ears perked forward as she decides whether it is safe or not. But Twilight Darkness is there, so it must be safe!
So Sequin watches as the two sidle in closer to Aurora, to meet her with sniffs and nuzzles and licks. Knives wiggles with excitement before prancing over to Darkness to say ‘hello’, pressing his little face against the stag’s chest in affectionate greeting. ~Sequin Ruins/Papercut/Knives

..-*Aurora startled at the sound of approaching hoofbeats. She tilted her auds in the direction, and picked out three different beats, two of them lighter then the third, suggesting foals and a full grown equine. Aurora's ears punctured forward to greet a filly's short nicker. But jumped slightly at the first nuzzle. She wasn't used to foals, but she still loved them. Aurora lowered her head down to the level of the small foals, her silver eyes flashing brightly with happiness. Anyone watching could see that Aurora was... very very fond of foals. She nuzzled the filly, as she heard the colt scamper of, in Twilight's Darkness's Direction. Aurora let her magick flare, so she could look at the new comers. The blind mare was able to see their auras, and as usual, thought them to be beautiful. A mare watching the two foals, who she presumed to be their mother, had a bright blue aura, that melted into a sheer white, and the filly... Bright red in the center, that flared to a soft pink, then into a bright silver. She saw the little colt, and noticed his was dark blue in the center, and flared out to a flashing purple. it was indeed gorgeous to see such pure colors that made up an equines being. Beautiful indeed. She let her magick die, and nickered to mare, "Are these young ones yours?" She asked, her melody twirled in the air, like a birds song. She smiled slightly, and waited for the mare's reply.

Sequin Ruins can’t seem to manage to keep from jumping as the other mare addresses her. She doesn’t think the feeling is really true fear, but more like she was startled, shocked that one would give her attention. Surely the foals are more interesting than herself. Still, though, at least it is the awareness of a fellow fae instead of another stallion. And that thought causes her to react slightly and to take the several cautious steps forward to half close the gap between herself and the other member of the herd.
“Yes, I hope they are not bothering you,” she speaks, wary concern in her voice. She could just kick herself for being so timid. The dam’s eyes drift down to her daughter, Papercut, who is licking Aurora’s neck with affectionate kisses and leaning against the vixen’s shoulder. “Papercut,” she utters quietly, giving the foal a scolding glance and being completely ignored by the little gray filly. ~Sequin Ruins/Papercut/Knives
(OOC: Sorry it took me so long to post. I figured I’d wait a bit to see if anyone else in the thread was going to reply. Guess not. Sorry it stinks.)

..-*Eternal Aurora had closed of the magick that allowed her to see auras so she was completely blind again. She listened, her auds cocked in the other mare’s direction. She hoped she hadn’t startled the mare. She heard the fae take a few slow steps closer, then speak, her voice full of wary concern. ”Yes, I hope they are not bothering you.”[/i[ She had stated, as the filly licked Aurora’s boar, with affectionate kisses, and leaned against her shoulder. Aurora heard the filly’s dam say Papercut, and Aurora guessed it was the flickas name. The bella, however didn’t seem to pay any mind to her mother. Aurora smiled to herself, and spoke, ”They are not bothering me one bit, Actually. I’m quite found of foals.” She admitted, as she lowered her head to groom the little bella’s back.
..-*She stopped and looked up at the other mare, showing of her bright silver orbs, that stated her a blind. ”I’m titled Eternal Aurora. Whom might you be?” She asked the mare. She waited patiently for any reply she may receive, as she went back to grooming the small bella at her side, now.

Papercut seems to almost purr as Aurora grooms her back and side, neck arched and her hind lifting to paw at the ground with delight. She rarely gets this treatment from her mother, the fae seeming very to keep herself very distant from herself and her brother, who is starting to inch his way closer to Aurora. The filly snorts in his direction, not wanting him to interfere in the affection she is getting, grinning when he lays his ears back and gives her a pouty look, but doesn’t approach. It’s so nice to be on top sometimes.
“I’m Sequin Ruins,” the dam responds, watching the other mare loving up on the little foal. Part of her is a little envious that her herdmate is capable of handing out such tenderness, whereas she keeps it bottled up. But she doesn’t want to let that show. “My filly is Papercut and my colt is Knives,” she says, giving them at least the benefit of an introduction. And, at hearing his name, her son trots over and snuggles against her side while Sequin tries very hard not to flinch or push him away. ~Sequin Ruins/Papercut/Knives

Mozart had to be there. She wanted to be with Darkness, to look over their new land together. She raced, very fast through the forests, to their new land. She stopped abruptly. Sequin Ruins and her foals were there. Ah, Sequin. Mozart had grown quite fond of her friend, and she was glad to see her.
But who was that? A blind mare, obviously. Mozart sniffed. She heard of this mare, entitled Eternal Aurora. She had heard from other jealous horses that Twilight had loved her once. Suddenly, Mozart felt challenged by this mare. It was an awkward feeling for her.
"Twilight," she nuzzled him softly, as she did love him. She turned toward Aurora. "You must be the horse that can see aura's," she said tersely, eyes darting from Twilight to Aurora. She knew Twilight loved her. And she loved him. But did he still have love feelings for Aurora, deep down inside him? She could never be to sure. She looked into Twilight's eyes, trying to hear, feel what he was thinking....

Sequin Ruins turns her eyes towards the coming lead mare, blinking with disinterest in her gaze and ears flicking lazily about on her skull, tail swishing behind her as she tries to ignore the tiny weight pressed against her side. So even thinking about the situation she had gotten herself into might do as a decent distraction. Still, her gaze betrays her to flick down towards the dark green pelted bundle on stilts. It isn’t that she doesn’t care for the two foals, she’d protect them with her life if she had to. It’s just she’s so unsure.
Anyway! Don’t think about it! She shakes her head to rid her of the uncomfortable thoughts and turning them towards the couple. She doesn’t know if Mozart still feels enmity between them. Sequin could really care less who Twilight Darkness chose as his mate. She certainly does want him! The broken fae doesn’t want any stallion and the only reason she chose to accept was out of both fear and common sense.
“Good afternoon,” she mutters to the queen, though her presence is less interesting and rightly so. So she remains where she is, silent as she watches the proceedings. Her only movements are the flick of her harks and slight movement of her whipcord back and forth nervously. There is no need to become involved unless she is brought into it. And she’ll probably be just as happy where she is. ~Sequin Ruins

(I'll just post)
Mozart paused, taken aback. Did Sequin... sound resentful? Or angry? Mozart really wanted to be friends with her: She was blown away on how Sequin was so resilient and strong. That was something to look for in a friend. Mozart looked away, sadness already punching holes in her heart.
((Sorry. Low Muse.))

Sequin is neither resentful nor angry, simply existing in this small part of the world and in the little space she calls her own, feeling as if she is barely living at all and dying a little more all the time. It isn't a feeling that can easily be explained and probably the most understood as empty...empty and hollow. The wretch has been this way for a long time now, hardly able to crawl out of this dark hole for more than a moment of expression before being dragged by down by the claws, already drenched in the blood of her soul, claws of realization: she is not important, a waste of life and resources with little to nothing to offer except as a number and a toy for those stronger than her to break
The fae's quiet eyes blink slowly, gazing with a blank expression at the strange reaction of the lead mare. She is not sure where it had come from nor why it had been born. Of course, it must be of her own doing, something that she had done wrong and may very well pay for later on. She heaves a heavy sigh and lowers her head. She's not fit for anything. "I apologize," she utters in soft tones, lowering her head and closing her eyes in an attempt to convey her most humble and sincere apologies, "for anything that I might have said or done wrong." ~Sequine Ruins

And those simple words made Mozart's heart break, more than it had before when she saw Aurora here. "You have nothing to be sorry about, and you have done nothing wrong." she tried to say tyhis soothingly, but her voice cracked mid sentence. She tucked her head down, closing her eyes pitifully.
(Bleh. That was a little rushed)
