Rules of the Ranks
- The order of powers is this: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Subordinate, Omegas.
- The pups of the pack are classified by their rank. (ex. If a pup is raised in the alpha position [and if his/her parents are not overthrown] they remain in a position of ‘honor’)
- The above rule does not apply to omega pups! Omega pups are usually adopted/rejected/forbidden offspring or simply those birthed from omega parents. When they reach adulthood, if they prove themselves, they can move up to the rank of subordinate.
- A Beta/Gamma/Delta position may be given to either a male or female of the alpha male’s choice. If that wolf already has a mate that is a member of the pack then that one is automatically promoted. If they get a mate after they have been promoted then their mate, again, automatically receives the higher rank.
General Rules[/u]
- All wolves are permitted to come and go as they please (in normal circumstances).
- All are expected to be loyal to the alphas and to respect the pecking order.
- Unless otherwise announced, couples may mate when they please during the usual mating times. (Unless IC circumstances call for ‘no breeding’ and this is the alpha male’s decision). Should you feel the need to ask permission to breed, that is fine.)
- To permanently leave the pack, your wolf must request leave from the alpha. The alphas have the right not to permit you to leave!
- Should an alpha deny you the privilege to mate/leave, a challenge for the right may be issued. The alpha may or may not accept the challenge.
