---This is how she looks like Lucii has been accepted! Haben hadn't cared about her odd looks or odd speaking ways. she enter her home, it was so good to called it home. Walking through it, she wondered if any other African Wild Dogs lived in Penori, besides her and her sister, Yessna, who had also been accepted. Haben was very generous to take them in. All they needed was a home, and they had it. In her dreamy state as always, she wondered if Haben had a mate. Of course, she wasn't attracted to him, she wondering though. It was what she did best, always so airy and light, seeing things different than the normal wolf would. That's why she was so different. It wasn't her looks, it was they way she acted. Although her looks were a big part of it. A huge part actually. Endorsed in thoughts she wouldn't remember, she hadn't noticed she wasn't alone as she spun through the territory, light as airy, as if she had been walking on clouds ever since she was a little pup, a newborn.

Lucii, wandering blindly with her head in the clouds, hadn't smelled Kodiak, hadn't heard her, and seen her. she only saw memories and questions and answer flittering above her gaze. No time for watching where she was going. she stumbled along, until finally, she heard approaching pawsteps and heavy breathing. She screamed, aware that a wolf stood before her. This wolf seemed to be a high-rank, the way she held herself. almost dignified. Maybe she was. "Hi." Lucii said cheerfully, as always. "My name is Lucii. what's yours?" She hoped the wolf would recognize her as a packmate, and not attack her because she thought she was a loner. She truly wanted to be friends with the dignified wolf, because she looked sort of friendly.

Topaz orbs widened slightly in surprise as an odd looking dog-like creature padded toward her. Kodiak scanned the animal, trying to figure out exactly what it was but she was sure she'd never seen anything like it. Being northern born though, there were a lot of things Kodi hadn't seen. It was long-legged and skinny with large brown eyes and ears that looked comically big. It's fur was very short and molted with brown, black and white. Kodi stood frozen in surprise for a moment before she wrapped her mind around the fact that it was obviously a canine and had Haben's scent so...it was safe right?
"Um hi" Kodi barked, auds swerving forward curiously. "My name is Kodiak but call me Kodi. Are you new here or passing through?"
Kodi wasn't aiming for rude or anything but she did sound a little surprised still as if still recovering from the surprise of seeing such a creature though she tried not to let it show. She was Haben's mate and had to set a good example of the wolves in the Emerald Twilight Glade even if she didn't know most of them. Besides, Kodi was curious and though she wouldn't admit it openly she was a little lonely with Haben so busy these days. Padding forward away from the pond, Kodi met the odd canine half way before sitting back on her haunches.
She kept her head up, her posture straight like an alphess was supposed to. She was sure this wolf or dog or whatever Lucii was didn't know she was the alphess. For whatever reason Kodiak didn't fancy the idea of meeting friends by blurting that she was an alphess. That scared off most canines or stuck them into formalities and Kodiak wasn't a wolf for formalities.

Lucii laughed softly, a musical, pretty laugh. "No, I'm part of this pack." Flicking her ears, she wondered what Kodi thought of her, being a weird looking canine. "I am an African Wild Dog," she said, noting Kodi's stares. ((I'm so sorry. My muse is low. I just felt out of my computer chair and banged my chin on the desk. It hurts )
