Anaiu

The sun was high in the sky as Anaiu entered this lovely illusion of an area. Her pelt was a fluffy white so thick used to the harsh climate of her home the wintery tundra. This place was so much different from her icy landscape of her home but this place was sweet literally. The grass gave off the sweet scent of honey suckle and there was a light breeze letting her know she wasnt the only one here but she was the only in this particular spot. Her sea blue optics looked around she had never seen a place so heavenly. She had come here after hearing this from eavesdropping on a conversation wolves talking about this place where you could perhaps find a love here. Anaiu wanted to know could someone actually love her for her and not fear for their life when or if she told them her dirty little secret. Her pink lined harks twitched around like tiny radar dishes maybe just maybe her dreams could be answered.

She sighed dreamily and wrapped her tail about her muscular fream as her black lines mouth opened in a lazy yawn showing both lovely rows of sharp pointed ivories. Anaiu had a certain air of authority about her being the daughter of the alpha and alphess of her pack was something you should be proud of but being the daughter of a murderer and then blamed for the deed was something to be ashamed of yet she wasnt she was surprisingly happy she was out of that hell hole and even now the sweet smell of this land was making her fall more and more in love. Anaiu was intergrated she could be nice yet she could very well snatch your throat out next she was a predictable royal brat but she had good qualities like a patience for those who were so annoying yet she could put up with it better than most. She stretched and stood up showing her true timber wolf muscle and height she was a true killer yet could someone love her what she was seeing now was noone and it made her harks flatten in saddness. She lifted that massive crania and released a song for only male ear it seemed to say will you love me? can you keep my secret? Can you truely love me for w ho I am? Am I worthless to you? Why am I here? Her sweet tune ended the call letting echos off the near by rocks and off into the distance.

‘Why am I here?’ was really what caught Maeko’s attention in the soft, sweet song that drifted through the air, twirling around his head and landing so gently upon his fluffy points. It is a question that he has often asked himself over the years, through puphood and now into his wandering adulthood. Purpose seems like such an elusive word, always keeping just out of your reach or dancing around you, spinning you about and putting that dizzying confusion into your head. Yes, he can relate to the female’s question, for the voice definitely belongs to a female, and he now sits beneath a single tree out in the open, wondering if he should approach, make himself known, and share with her their similarity.

Maeko is not dark nor light, he is himself. He jumps from alliance to alliance, barely skimming the hairs off of neutral, as he plods through life searching for the reason for his being. He had at first thought that his destiny was to reunite with his long-lost family, but as the years have gone by and he continues traveling without success, he has lost the vibrant certainty that he held for it at one time. This brute is alone, truly alone, and he has only just recently come to grips with that. Perhaps he will always be alone, no female or male companion able to stand for his constant changing of sides or the darkness that he prefers. Maybe it would be a waste of time to meet this female.

Well, he was heading in her direction, anyway, he figures. If he passes by and she happens to take notice of him without seeming unduly irritated by his demeanor than maybe he will think about hanging around for awhile. Some company might do some good for his low spirits. So he picks his haunches off the ground, swishing his tail left and right to free it of several leaves that had clung to his brush while he was seated, and lifts each limb into a trotting motion. His muscles ripple beneath and black and gray mottled pelt, green eyes shining, defiant of the world and its oddities. Yes, Maeko is Maeko and nobody has the right to change who he is.

His wet black nose twitches slightly as it comes in contact with the same sweet smells that Anaiu had been enjoying, ears twitching back and forth slightly as he tries to figure them out. He quickly picks at ‘her’ scent as well, easily deciphering it from all the other smells for it is a scent different from all others that he has enjoyed before. Maeko moves into the taller, less traversed grasses, his body a rustle in the long stalks but less noticeable by sight so that he can see her before she sees him; a habit he has picked up.

She is a brilliant white, her coat thick and fluffy and attractive. He can tell she is well-muscled beneath the outer beauty of her pelt and he thinks he might actually like it. Of course he doesn’t try to entertain the idea that she is like him as far as personality, that would be setting himself up for disappointment, for he has not encountered one that would match him so well. But Maeko gets the sudden urge to present himself to the dazzling vixen, keeping his hopes under tight reign but trying to be open-minded and approachable (as far as he can without damaging who he is).

“Good day, madam. I heard your call and wondered how a pretty lady like yourself could be left so sad. So I thought I would just come on over and introduce myself.”

The day was pleasantly warm the sun still high in its daily cycle. The birds were singing their sweet tune and the bees making their visits to each single flower collecting that oh so sweet nector to make sweet hunny. She smiled it was so pleasant here though she felt slightly alone and wanted someone else to feel her loneliness and perhaps make her happier than what she was feeling now cause she wasnt very happy she wanted someone to caress her and kiss her and tell her everything would be alright like her father used to now her mother cause she was a cruel bitch who did whatever she damn well pleased. Her thoughts were broken though as a new scent entered her nostrils and made her sea blue optics look around curiously what was this new smell. It was very masculine could she perhaps have called someone worthy or someone who seemed to understand her call or perhaps was it merely one who passed. The turn and land on the handsome voice and she sees the brute for who he really is he is a dark color of grey with perhaps a black coat under it all. She smiles thought it is hidden with a muschievious gleam in her eyes thought their is a certain air of saddness about it. His eye caught her attention with the white patch around it which added personaility to his facial features and she spoke in her angelic tones "sorry but bad things have happened and I was hoping I could find someone to help me make these feelings flow away from me" she said softly.

The canine brute steps closer now that he had made himself known and they had begun to exchange vocals, unafraid of her reaction to him closing in the proximity. Many have called him arrogant, too big for his boots, fool-hardy. He’s even heard whispers of ‘idiot’ and buffoon, but he just refers to himself as confident and daring (two things he believes one needs most in this world), and a notch above the rest when it comes to brains. And if those things make him eccentric and an unlikely victor, then so be it. As he mentioned in his thoughts earlier, nobody is changing him for any reason.

“I see. I have always been partial to playing the role of a knight rescuing a damsel in distress,” he muses out loud to himself with a cocky grin on his face, his paws carrying him close enough to touch before he plants himself upon his powerful haunches, flicking his tail restlessly. “Perhaps I can assist you with your sorrows. My name is Maeko, but those I call friends call me Ko.” Or they would if he had friends; he has a hard time holding onto ‘friends’ who like to abandon him when they discover his chaotic nature. ‘Dark-wannabe’ they call him. Yet, again, no matter.

The she wolf was ever calm of this imposing figure though she did however stand her ground unfraid. She didnt have a bad vibe off him she was just kind of unsure of this brute he approached her like he was overly confident which made her smirk if he thought she was just another fae he better think again. She wouldnt call him any of the bad term she was ever curious about this brute he wasnt like others which kind of intrigued her more than possible. After all it wasnt like her to sit here and socialize she wasnt allowed to really socialize in her old pack due to her mother. She watched him and finally settled down on her haunches her sea blue optics ever curious like they normally were and she was very aware of his prescene. "A prince charming and what shall you do with me" she asked curiously though a smile was upon her face making her facial structure relax. A banner padded the ground lightly knowing she was friendly atleast. However when he spoke his name she smiled "Well hello Maeko it tis a pleasure to meet you I am Anaiu you may call me Ani for short.

”Do with you? What would you like me to do with you, Anaiu?” he asks playfully, sending a flirtacious wink in her direction. Oh, he really hadn’t planned on doing anything with her in that sense, had really only figured that there was no harm in approaching and exchanging names. His tail flicks and bats his hip silently as he watches her, a grin upon his dark features and a mischevious light illuminating his voids. So far there has been no mockery, no apparent judgement; yes, this first meeting has gone well thusfar and now he must continue on with it while the going is good to see how it will end up. “So, how is it that I might assist my fair Princess Anaiu? Afterall, here I am.” He chuckles, a dark rumble in his throat.
