Lola Blossom thinks she can almost sense the weight that he has taken upon himself and she suddenly has an overwhelming urge to console him in some manner. But she’s not sure what exactly would be appropriate. Still, she feels she just must do something, anything. He seems the type who would understand and appreciate any gesture with that intent. So the grulla mare takes a couple leery steps forward and nudges his neck gently.
“It is good to have and fulfill responsibility, it helps you grow as an individual. But do not let it defeat you, neither, Zaraki.” She whispers against him, giving him another soft nuzzle before stepping back and looking bashfully down at the sandy ground. If horses could blush, she certainly would be right now. Lola hopes that wasn’t an out of place action. ~Lola Blossom

He did not know why she had done what she did, but he appreciated her gesture. He felt that it must be awkward for her, listening to him speak the way he was. If he was in her hooves, he would not know what to say either. He felt horrible, he had been in her position before and he hated it, and now he was doing the exact same thing to her. She should not have to listen to his problems, after all, he had to figure them out himself. He had never believed that dreams could become reality, and now that one of them had, he was beside himself. Zaraki had never been so confused in all his life.
Thank you, I know in time that I will figure this out. he said, and returned the gesture.
The stallion hated being so confused, he felt weak, and he hated feeling weak. Unfortunately, everybody had a weakness, and one of his was that he got confused easily.
Zaraki's mind was a complex one.

Lola Blossom only smiles as she studies his countenance, seeming to read him like a book. Oh, she’s quite versed in interpreting others, she has raised two colts after all and that takes a lot of translating sometimes. So his confusion is neither hidden nor not understandable. But what he needs, she thinks, is a distraction. And though she may look silly and childish, it’s for the best for Zaraki and she’s willing to make sacrifices for the benefit of others.
So, snapping her head forward, a playful nip grazes his shoulder and she immediately jerks her whole figure away, rearing onto her head and spinning around. Lola takes a couple trotting steps away before turning to look over her shoulder to see if her new friend would take the bait. Maybe a bit of a game of tag will help clear his head for a little bit. ~Lola Blossom

So she wanted to play did she? Zaraki did not mind so much, it would help him to relax and unwind. He did not have to think about his power for a while, so he chose to take the bait and he trotted off after his friend. He had been wondering if it had been such a good idea for him to go to the Void, but he now had the power, and it was up to him to use it. He let out a sigh as he trotted after the mare, he had plenty of time to think, anad thsoe thoughts could wait until another day. Right now he had more important things to do.
Zaraki caught up with Lola and landed a soft nip on her shoulder, before coming to a halt and darting off. He was not going to think about anything else except the game, it would help him burn off energy and then he would end up too tired to think.

The mare had not been trying to outrun her companion, but the nip does surprise her and she jumps to the side with a quite whinnying laugh. She bounces on her fores playfully before giving chase once again, quickly adjusting her footing to the shifting sands beneath her feet which she was not quite used to. It makes her gait feel a little awkward, but she is able to stay on her feet and gain enough speed to catch up. She pushes against his side with her head and gives one short buck of excitement. Lola Blossom hasn’t been in a game for a long time. ~Lola Blossom
