Yes, she had cleared away, but in Paine's mind, all the wolves had to die together. She did not care that a couple had escaped, they would be able to tell their master not to mess with the two equines that had killed their comrades. She could not care less though, they would die eventually, it was just a shame that she would not be there to see it.
The mare looked down at her flank, the bleeding was slowing, but it would be best for her to cleanse the wounds. She walked over to the water, and lowered herself in gently, it stung at first, but she was no stranger to the pain. Paine had endured much worse pain than that.
It might be an idea to clean your wounds, would hate to see you die of infection. the mare said, not in an entirely sarcastic way.

"If I died it wouldnt matter anyhow I am not needed for the world to go around" Dixie retorted. Dixie stood licking her wound on her flanks and legs and wiggled her sensitve nose somewhat feeling the sting of a scratch on her nose. She stepped foreward her harks coming up looking at their surrounding looking for predators that were bigger than wolves seeing none at all she came foreward into the cool refreshing water the water burning her wound as if her flesh was on fire then she hope none of those wolves carried rabies. She raked her nose across the surface of the water making it ripple as the drops fell from her nose to the surface. She then used her pistons to fold under her letting her body submerge in the cool cool water letting it clense the dirt and debri from her cuts a sigh of relief making its way from her lips.

They were all disposable creatures for the world, but it was up to the individual in question if they wanted to throw their life away. Paine did not like Dixie's statement at all, it annoyed her, but she was not going to show her frustration...there was no point in doing so, and she was not going to waste time by doing something pointless.
The mare walked out of the water and shook herself a little, and turned to look at the one who was travelling with her. Paine was bored, and she wanted to know what they could do now. Though she adored battle, she did not get a lot of excitement from killing wolves, she preferred to be pitted against something more challenging.
So what shall we do now? she asked, and stood still, waiting for an answer.
