..-*Orfeo walked first into the area... what was it called? The watering hole? Lake of Glass Diamonds. How was he to know. He was only a young foal, and new to this place at that. He stood at the edge of the area for a while making sure it was safe, but Lana was getting bored, so he walked in, first of course. He'd alwaysput himself in danger before Lana. His black pelt shown in the sunlight, and his oddly colored tuffs of mane and tail seemed to float on an invisible wind. "ORFEO! LOOK!" He turned to see Lana running full speed out of the trees, and then jumping straight into the pool of water. Orfeo shook his head at his sister, but smiled. He followed her, and jumped high into the air, before landing in the water with a large SPLASH! He laughed. The sound unfamiliar to his ears. Had he never laughed before. Yes, of course he had. Before... with mother and father. before they were taken from them. Yes. Father was slaughtered, and mother was forced to abandon her two young foals to the elements.

..-*Orfeo pulled himself out of the water, to see Lana already dying herself on the sand. He grinned, and lay next to his twin sister. "I wish mother and father was here." He said, before he could stop himself. He watched with horror as his sister's face fell, and mentally kicked himself. he was the eldest, he should be watching out for his sister, not hurting her by reminding her of the past, then her soft lyrics were heard, "I miss them, Orfeo. I miss them so much." She admitted as she lay her delicate head on the ground. Orfeo instantly covered her bare nape with his neck, offering her comfort. In truth, Orpheus missed his parents too.

..-*Lana closed her lids over her bright blue eyes, shutting her tears inside them, making sure not to cry infront of Orfeo. She knew how much it hurt him to see her said. She opened her eyes again, after a while. and looked around. The watering hole seemed to be oddly empty. It made her smile. She got up, and looked at her brother. She lowered her muzzle to his side, saying, "Tag, your it!" Before she tossed her head and raced away. She could hear Orfeo's quick 3 beat following her, as she ran.

..-*But she believed her self to be faster... key word... believed because suddenly she heard Orfeo's laughter, and his muzzle at her side, "And now your it..." he stated, turning tail and running away. Lana giggled, and turned, bring her front legs up in the process... and somehow managed to fling herself backwards onto her back. her eyes were wide, surprised. And she could hear Orfeo laughing, "Lana... did... you... just..." he attempted to get out between laughter. But he was unable to finish his sentence, because he ended up on the ground, laughing.

..-*Lana attempted to pull herself up with diginity, as her brother continued to laugh. "You, Orfeo, are not nice. I could have hurt myself." Orfeo managed to stop laughing long enough to say, "Sorry Lana... You just looked... so... funny laying on... your back, looking so... surprised." naturally, bubbles of laugher punctuated ever fragment. Lana glared, but couldn't help her own slight giggle.

..-*Orfeo felt bad for laughing at Lana, but she had just looked so funny. he couldn't help it. He smiled, as she finally gave up her fight, and giggled. Though she was still glaring. Orfeo suddenly straightened, and looked around. he could have sworn he had heard something, he just wasn't sure... what it was...
