Sage, rosemary and pine, eh? Not peanut? Well darn. My heart is broken, my life is worthless, whatever shall I do? Surcingle Bey heaved a dramatic sigh and flopped over backward into the water, sending another mini tidal wave rippling toward the beach. Bey righted himself again and dog-paddled in lazy circles around Dixie, humming the tune of Scarborough Fair. He liked to hear her laugh, so he took every opportunity to amplify his naturally goofy behaviour so as to amuse her. But all fun aside, he was curious about her. Who was she? Where had she come from? Tell me all about yourself, Ms. Dixie. You said earlier you've got no family around here, correct?

She snickered "you life is not broken you still have me" she joked lightly. When he flopped over backward she wasnt sure whether to laugh or to merely grin. However she pulled off a grin laugh. She watched him swim circles about her and she watched him with soft brown oculars. She even crawled from the watering hole shaking her dun pelt out letting her hairs glisten in the drying air. SHe snorted lightly getting out the pond scum and whatever else h ad been floating around in the water depths. When he spoke to her she didnt know whether to answer his question or to answer it so she decided upon answering his curious questions which made her happy. "That is correct I used to live on a breeding farm where my sister so faintly passes away in a storm that is how I escaped" Dixie said however her words didnt sound distant DIxie knew it hand been her fault and would not blame herself for something like that.

You're life's not broken, you still have me.
Her words stopped him in his tracks and he almost drowned right then and there. Floundering into the shallows, he looked to his lady, who had already departed from the aquatic environment. Do I? Surcingle Bey shook the excess moisture from his pelt and started to walk down the beach, flicking his head for Dixie to follow. Sand stuck to his hooves and legs and he snorted in annoyance. I hate sand. It's dry, and itchy, and it gets everywhere. Bey nuzzled Dixie's mane comfortingly. Her story of losing her family was told in perfectly controlled tones, but he knew a loss like that had to hurt even now. I'm sorry for your loss, my lovely.
