Jynxed Halo is on a mission, a mission to achieve the power of earth. His first stop will be the Rainbow Jewel Labyrinth where he will acquire a feather from an eagle that has supposedly taken dwelling there. He’s not sure he had ever heard of such a thing, but why would Raed lie to him about something like that? He is determined, non-the-less, to get what the beast wants for a trade for earth. It’s all real exciting. But, he keeps his cool.
The perlino stag treads through the many tunnels in search of a sign of a great bird of prey, eyes adjusting to the faint light given by the jewels strewn over the walls. Then, finally, there is a great rush of wind and the shrieking cry of an eagle up ahead. Exhilaration floods Halo, but he reminds himself not to rush into this; an eagle can be quite a vicious enemy. But as he approaches he finds that the beast of flight had taken wing through the tunnel above his head and left.
Slowly he approaches the great nest, looking into it and smiling gently at the half covered eggs nesting there. He wishes to reach out and stroke the shells of the soon-to-be babies, but he refrains for fear that their mother might abandon them. So, with great care to not leave his scent too greatly upon anything, he reaches in to retrieve a single feather from the bed and then to quietly take his leave.
