If you quest for magic, you are not automatically an expert the first time around. You quest for classes of your power (which are listed below). For example, if you set out to seek the power of fire and you are granted it, you are a beginner. After that you need to wait one real week before you can quest again. If you quest again and are lucky enough to be granted the power, you now have an Intermediate class of fire. Should you then decide to quest for ice (a week later, of course), and acquire it, you are would be a beginner of ice and an intermediate at fire.
Classes:
Beginner: You have just gained your power and can only accomplish mild feats with it. This class is very easy to acquire.
Intermediate: You have continued gaining strength. The difficulty in the quest for this class increased.
Advanced: You have continued gaining strength are getting very good at controlling your power and the amount of damage you can do is much greater. This class is very difficult to attain.
Expert: This is the highest class of any power that you can get. This is the strongest class and the quests can be extremely difficult. In the end, the results are worth it.
Form for Seekers:
This is the form that should be filled out at the bottom of your post if your character is seeking a quest for magic.

The Quest:
Here is the specifics about how the quests are done.
Once requesting a quest, the quest giver with require the quester to go and collect certain objects from specific places and to bring them back to them in order to complete the quest and gain their new class of magic.
To collect the object, you must go the ordained place and actually make an in character post collecting the object (put [quest] in the subject). When bringing it back you need to post that you have the object and give a link to the thread.
Items that can be Collected:
Hairs are acquired from certain characters and can be requested in different quantities from more than one other character. (example: Collect 3 hairs from Joker and 2 from Spirit). You go to Echo Summit to call for the certain characters (you may PM them to let them know as sometimes we overlook things) and when they come you request it from them. They don't have to give it up right away but must give it up after 2 real days.
