"Namid!" The stallion's voice echoed across the canyons and gullies of Icy Mountain. It was rich and deep, in sharp contrast to the stark landscape of the mountain. Dula stood on a rocky outcropping, perhaps three-quarters of the way up the slope. The mare was not in sight, but he had the feeling that he would not sense her approach.
His dark feathering was crusted with ice and snow, his lower legs cut and bleeding from the shards of ice embedded in them. The journey up had been miserable for the Southern King, and he had been forced to stop to stem the bleeding from his tender nose. The thin air and below-freezing temperatures had wreaked havoc on his capillaries, and he was well aware of the state his normally pure coat was in. He now just wanted to get what he had come for and return to his warm waters. Water... his element. To, perhaps, be his to control.

Why seek this?: Dula has always felt connected to water, and he knows he very well may be challenged for his lands and wishes to gain an edge over any who might challenge him. He eventually wants to become an Expert in Water.
