Ebony looked upon the mountain before her. Her nostrils flared. Why had she come here? Just to challenge some myth? Her cold grape eyes seemed to burn through the snow around her. She had left her family in search of adventure, and lacking it below she had come up here, as a last resort.
Ebony watched the wind eddy through the powder on top of the packed snow drifts, like it had nothing better to do. Her mane and tail were pulled along as well, doing tricks in the wind. Her muscles clenched and relaxed in steady succession. She felt her hooves cleave into the thick snow as she walked up the slop of the ice mountain. Nothing truly made sense to her anymore. She felt nothing at all. Her large black body moved through the terrain. She walked on, looking down below her. She smiled; the snow clouds obscuring her view of the valley reminded her of sparkling crystals. The tiny diamond flakes falling from their grey bellies seemed almost deadly sharp.
Ebony began to think of stallions. She found her mind often wandered toward the masculine race these days; especially when she had nothing better to do than walk. They had their uses, the stallions did, but it was so difficult to find one that was a fit match for her. She suddenly plunged up to her chest in a deeper drift, feeling its icy grip tease her skin. Cold. Just as she was toward all who sought her affections. The ebonite lady tried to think no more on it as she waded up from the drift till it came to her shoulders. It was cold to the point of stinging.
Ebony waded through the snow until her hooves almost lost the rock beneath the powder. The deep chill of the frozen water made her breathing deepen and even out. It was truly beautiful to watch the snow in the sunlight when that star broke the clouds, as it did now.
Ebony waded finally to the top of the peak, standing still now in the snow, thinking about why she was here. The dark one laughed a little at herself. She was so anal, why did she have to think about it so much? Just challenge the magical legend. Ebony stepped onto a rock and out of the snow, whiteness caking her body and her violet gaze darting about as she stared about shrewdly, looking for this Namid. This was going to feel a little stupid.
Namid, here I am. Show yourself.
Character Name: Ebony
Wish: Wings
Why Wish for This?: Why not? Ebony's bored and skeptical about this whole thing, so she thought she'd try it out.
