The Air around Us(Air/Wind Quest)

he was so relieved to be doing this. It had taken for ever for her to get the guts up to do it. But she DESPERATELY wanted to learn to control the wind. To Air Bend. She cantered across the sand, kicking it up behind her in a fluffy cloud. She had to be careful, trying earnestly not to... totally fall into the sand. She knew how loose the grains of sand were, and how easy it could be to suddenly slip and fall.

he deifantly wanted to make a good impression when she finally met the gaurdian... Komi? Right? She was pretty sure she was right. She moved with the grace granted to all Friesians. She toosed her mane, as a gust of wind met her, cradeling around her black form. Soon... very soon, she hoped to be able to control this very magestic wonder, that offered her so much comfort. She most defiantly hoped Komi would help her gain this power.

[E]vanescence would probably do just about anything to be able to do this! Or maybe that was just the desire to be able to bend air that caused her to think like that. She sighed, and glanced around the desert. Maybe the heat was getting to her. sje defiantly missed her home among the cold northerns in a different land. She kinda missed the snow that she had grown to like, but too late now, to go back. Everything about that land reminded her of him, of Khepri.

[O]h how she missed Khepri, the former love of her life. And she knew deep down, no one would ever replace him. Not when it came to her heart. She cared so much about him still. No. Don't think about! Or who know what will happen. She looked at around herself. Stopping, she wondered if now would be a good time to call for Komi to come to her, and help her. She sighed, and looked around again.

[L]ifting her head high, she let her lyrics take to the end, sending their angelic call threw the lands, "I call for Komi!" Her tones were clear and comfortable. It stated what she wanted, and now she stood still, waiting patiently to see if she would get a reply soon, or if she was going to have to sit around and wait for a while. Taking a deep breath, she prepared herself for the worse of the options... Silly me, the worse would be for him not to come at all. She realized, and hoped it wouldn't come to that. She waited for Komi to arrive, should he do so.

Why seek this?: Evanescence loves the wind, and takes comfort from it. She loves the way it feels when it wraps around her, and the thrill she gets from running head long into wind, so she wants to try to control it.

Komi

The swirls of sand began to flow almost in a sandstorm way but it wasnt more like a small cyclone. Then it opened a large metallic purple hoof stepping from the sand particles then a large head and the finally his fifteen handed fram was fully out the sand dispersing like it was never there to begin with. His pelt was the color of a black onyx swirled with deep violet making it seem almost mystic like. When he opened his eyes fast they seemed like deep silver pools full of a mystic substance. His tassles that whipped across his face and rump were the color gold so fine it shone like the sun above. His nares flared as he sniffed and looked at the mare before encircling her with water and sending her off into a vortex ending up in a meadow full of life and beauty sure he was able to be in the desert which he hated the sand and loved meadow so he took her here. The flowers in bloom but it seemed they were in a little patch of heaven the clouds and the sun were right but it was just them and the buzzing bees which were set to work collecting pollen.

As the water fell from then and wet the earth he flicked his ear a deadly smile spreading across his lips his silver eyes on her like predator to prey. He shakes his head and simply stands there oh great another one who is wanting to master the powers of an elements he wondered what type this fae wanted and with simplicity he spoke his tones deep and yet neutral. "Komi is here what do you want from him" indeed this friesian mare was beautiful surely she would want some off the chain power however he felt otherwise she wanted soemthing simple and he would give it to her if she complete two tasks items that he wanted she better be prepared cause they would be off the all something and he was already smiling and he spoke again after mere moments of quiet "well" he asked.

[E]vanescence had been taken by surprise when a sudden wave of water circle her. She forced herself to remain calm as threw the waves she spotted a meadow. Waiting as patiently, and as calmly as the vixen could, she watched the water dye down... And their... he was... Komi. Komi is here what do you want from him his deep, nuetral tones slithered threw the air. Evanescence stood a little taller, and spoke after his soft well... "I am here, for one main reason. I wish to control the element of wind, and intend to do so. Lets not waste our time here, shall we? And you can tell me what I need to do, and I shall be more then willing to do it too!" She said calmly, speaking in a no nonsense kind of voice.

she wasn't here to totally have Komi draw out this meeting or anything. SHe shook out her raven tresses, and kept herself calm, as she waited for his reply, shifting her fore daggers ever so slightly.

Komi flattened his harks in a very angry manner and he pawed the earth. "You shall not speak to Komi in a such a manner if you wished to be gifted" he said calmly though there was c ertain icyness to them. He snorted and glared at her maybe he was mistaken about this one. Horses and wolves these day were so rude to the purple swirled brute what would happen if he totally took away his power and let these foolish mortal suffer their fate in being lonely. "At any rate Komi wishes to things from you fae" he said grouchily and snorted "You will go to burning peaks and bring me a piece of coal, and in the go to Ryker and take a hair from his head" he said and then he was gone teach her to be nasty to him.
