Anwyn has been traveling through the lands of Penori with her sister, Aerona. Now that they have found the Light pack, Anwyn had more time to herself, away from her maniacal sister. It gave her time to clear her head.
Suddenly, a sickening thud landed in her stomach, and then a long ruuuuuuuumble. Anwyn was horrified at the sound. She hadn't eaten for days. She sighed, looking around. No wolves in sight. If she caught a quick meal, she could get out of this forest easily.
So she began tracking through scents and tracks, sniffing out a trail of a herd of... Horses? Anwyn new horses had lived in Penori for centuries. But in a wolf hunting area? That's one brave horse!
Anwyn soon found what she was looking for- Not a herd, as she had expected, but two horses, snapping at each other is hushed voices. They didn't know she was there. This was her chance. She attacked the nearest one.
A neigh of horrified screeches came from what seemed to be a female mustang. She kicked Anwyn is the ribs, sending the wolf spiraling into a tree. Anwyns vision was altered for a moment, but it cleared up in time to see the mustang pelting away, her other companion following closely.
Damn! Anwyn rarely swore, but the time seemed appropriate for a swear. Behind her, she heard a few fronds of ferns whisk around. At first, she didn't turn around, thinking it was the wind. But then, an overpowering wolf smell was close to her. She spun around.
Another wolf stood before her.

He laughed, pressing his face in close to hers and blowing roughly into the larger female's ears. "So then, pretty, out hunting, are we?" His black muzzle parted, revealing vicious teeth in a twisted smile. Gluttony was clamoring for something to fill his stomach, and Envy could barely suppress him any longer. Even Sloth was willing to work a little, now!
He backed off a bit, remembering his much-tormented manners. She was, after all, a Lady, by the scent of her. Heh. The black half-wolf hadn't met a Lady in such a long time... Not even his old love, the traitorous one, had been quite this delicate. Pride really was quite perceptive when it came to first impressions, and Envy was willing to trust him on this one.
He closed his lips, flicking his long bangs out of his slitted purple eyes. Usually, he'd be more interested in a female, but Gluttony had currently surpassed Lust in the little pecking order that was Envy's mind.

But Anwyn wasn't afraid. She simply whisked her tail around in a bored manner. "Who are you?" she said, her eyes dull. He was a Dark wolf, obviously. Probably Aerona's type. In fact, she wouldn't be surprised if her Dark sister claimed this male as her mate. It would be logically forceful of Aerona to do that.
kipping around a bit, she forgot all about her name question. Far more interesting questions popped in her mind. "Do you know a red wolf named Aerona? She's in your pack." Anwyn was generally curious about her sister. They shared blood, after all.

Her lack of fear set him back a bit, effectively throwing him off his stride. Her question threw him off even more, and he snarled a bit and sat down roughly. He was really starting to like her... got a bit of spunk. He laughed, the sound not entirely pleasant to listen to. The coyote's blood he shared was enough to give him an eerie set of vocal chords.
He ignored her first question, and it seemed that she had moved on. "Aerona, hmm?" He paused for dramatic effect. "Nope. Never heard of her." Envy wasn't readily willing to admit that he had only been in Penori a short time himself, and, in fact, didn't know anyone of his affiliation.
