LuciiPicture yourself in a boat on a river, With tangerine trees and marmalade skies... Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly, A girl with kaleidoscope eyes....I didn't really have a reason for going here, but I needed to get away from the Light Terra for just an hour or two. I wandered over to the Hunting Grounds, looking for something to do. Hunting wasn't much use for me; my bright pelt stood out considerably. So, basically, I had nothing to do for a while. I spent my time daydreaming. I thought of Haben, my Alpha, and how he was quite handsome. I thought of my sister, Yessna. I thought of the meadow I was born in, and the fire that nearly killed me. I thought of my parents, isolated in a circle of fire, the fire closing in on them..... I shook my head and blinked. Was that footfalls on the leaf litter? A whisper of breath? My huge ears picked up strange noises. Was that... Integrated smell? Cellophane flowers of yellow and green Towering over your head... Look for the girl with sun in her eyes And she's gone... Lucii in the sky, With Diamonds, Lucii in the sky with diamonds Lucii in the sky, with diamonds...(OOC: This is how Lucii looks:

Alei had been walking for sometime time now, leaving the vast field along with the two wolves she had just encountered. The deep red that soaked into her neck fur had begun to dry a little, but in the cold air the wound still stung a bit every now and then. She ignored it. The other two wolves were long gone by now, but she could sense another presence. Stopping in her tracks, she lifted her maw to sky and sniffed. It didn't smell of wolf. Though, she could make out that it was a female. Or so she thought. Parting her jaws, she let out a little howl, just to let the other know she was there. It was a soft, gentle, song-like howl with no aggression or warning whatsoever. She didn't want to make a challenge out of nothing.
That done, she continued on her walk east. The air was already started to become warming. A grin eased upon her face. Still, the scent was getting stronger. It wasn't that she was afraid. Curiosity usually took over her common sense. Meeting others was always a pleasure for her. Something new. She just couldn't afford getting into another fight at the moment. She'd traveled all night without anything to eat, and without rest. She was just beginning to grow somewhat tired, but not too much to stop and sleep immediately.

My peculiar sense of smell and hearing picked up Alei before I heard the crunch of leaf-litter from the Fae's paws.I wondered what the Fae was smelling; surely it wasn't your normal wolf smell. And what I was smelling... was scary. It was blood and Integration mixed together.I wrinkled up my small nose to the scent. But, oddly, the presence seemed casual and comfortable;somewhat nice. If nice had a smell... I wondered more, my eyes on the ground and my head in the clouds. But words came to my mouth before I had thought them up. "Hello?" I said. My voice was supposed to sound...fearful, I suppose. But it came out like I had known this wolf for a while, and that we were friends. It was odd, and it should've made be uncomfortable, but it didn't. I was relaxed. Was that suppose to happen?

Alei heard the voice, as the strange scent grew stronger. Lifting her gaze from behind a hedge, she saw the creature. It wasn't a wolf, but she was sure it was canine. There wasn't an edge or warning sign in the voice, it actually sounded casual, but the look on her face was a bit unsure. Bounding out from behind the bush, she parted her jaws and barked back a greeting. "What... exactly are you?" She questioned, stepping a little closer, and circling the female.
Her nose wriggled a bit, as she leaned her head toward the little dog and sniffed, still circling her. So strange. She hoped her question hadn't offended the creature. Stopping in front of her, so that they were face to face, she waited for her answer while looking her over. Taking in every detail, her eyes drifted from her large, rounded ears, along her short black snout, to her eyes, and down her sides. Large, brightly colored orange spots mixed with a cream colored pelt, blending into black here and there, with a white under belly. If this was a wolf, it was unlike any other she had seen. The smell was odd as well, definitely nothing like wolf's whatsoever.

I laughed silently at the wolf's question. It was a question I got a lot here in Penori. I waited for her to take in my full looks before speaking. "My name is Lucii and I am an African Wild Dog."I smiled at her, showing my oddly carved teeth. I was relaxed, this wolf did not intimidate me. In fact, I found her behavior funny. With all the circling, the Fae must be getting dizzy, a pleasant feeling to myself. I wanted to laugh, my my laugh was unlike any others- it was almost like a nightingale song, it was sweet and melodic. Unlike a wolves gruff laughter.

Very strange indeed. She had never seen, nor heard of such a creature. "African wild dog." She repeated the words aloud as if trying them out for the first time, and taking it to memory. Blinking, she looked back into the African wild dog's face, and introduced herself. "I'm Alei." She smiled, still looking over the canine she now knew as Lucii. She reminded her a bit of a hyena. But much more colorful, with larger spots and stranger markings. "It's nice to meet you, Lucii."

I smiled wanly, Alei was a lot of a prettier name than Lucii. I felt a little awkward, I stepped around Alei and wandered aimlessly. "Pretty name," I said softly, absently. I tried to focus on her thoughts, idly sniffing a horsetail frond. If I concentrated hard enough... I could get to her thoughts. I thought hard; my mind on her face. And I broke in. Hyena! Hahaha; I was far from that[/]. I laughed idly; and I looked up at Alei. "What brings you here, Alei?

Alei smiled sweetly at Lucii's compliment. "Thank you." She paused, still looking her over, as if committing her strange appearance to memory. "Your's is quite lovely as well." She barked, seating herself on the ground, allowing her hind legs to rest a bit. "Well, I've been traveling, almost all my life. Aimlessly. I just arrived here, Penori? Is that the name?" The question was more directed toward herself, though she did wonder if the female had heard of the name. She had randomly over heard some wolves talking, and asked about it. "What about you?" She asked, assuming she didn't come from these lands. She didn't smell like the other wolves she'd recently met, she didn't smell like the lands, and she certainly didn't seem to fit in here. What, with her strange breed and all..
