I (and some of the other members and staff) have noticed a small decline in activity that we think deserves some attention. A RPG rides on the back of loyal members and the influx of new active members to its doors. But how do we get members? We all know the answer. It’s that tedious chore all site owners are familiar with: advertising. However, because it can be such a chore, I thought the introduction of a little competitive spirit could help things along. In other words, I’m going to bribe you people into helping me with an advertising contest. And I hope it works. 
Prizes
There will be a first and second place winner in this contest and these are what you’ll get if you win.
1st Place gets a new power at the expert level for any one of their characters plus one free wish of anything of their choice with no chance of rejection.
2nd Place gets a new power at the intermediate level for any one of their characters and a pick of one of three items for any one of their characters: earrings, necklace/amulet, or a bracelet!
So, what do you think? I thought they were quite good looking prizes myself. *observes them* I’d be inspired. *winks* Okay! To get started, look at the rules/requirements and other info that you’ll need in order to participate.
End Date: January 31st (does that give you all enough time?)
Who can participate: Anyone! (as long as you’re a member!)

- Only advertising and no affiliation requests (it can get sloppy for the staff end of the deal). IF you, however, take note of a particular site that you think we should take a look at as far as affiliation, feel free to note that.
- Only advertise on sites that are not on our List of Sites we’ve Advertised on (<<Clickable).
- Please also be aware, when adverting, of the list of sites that others have adverting on (so that we don't have other poor sites getting bombarded by MoP Ads. It'll also make things easier when judging at the end.
- Please use our current ad (Our Ad <<Clickable) if/when you can (without breaking the rules of the forum you're adverting on). [Note: I was able to get the first part of the ad (before the affiliation banners) to be coded, but I just couldn't figure out the banners. If you'd like to figure those out for yourself when you start advertising, feel free to.]
- Please make sure to follow the rules of the sites you are advertising on. We would like to maintain a good reputation for MoP. Remember that by you posting on another person’s site you are reflecting on MoP in either a good or bad light.
- You may keep track of the number of sites you’ve advertised and your links by replying to this post (how to keep track is noted below).
- No cheating, no teams.
- Have all entries added to your post by the evening of January 31st. Any other advertisements that were not included in the thread before it is locked, please PM to Halo so that they can be at least considered in records.
How to keep Track:
- First off, reply to this thread.
- Post the name and link of each site you advertise on.

- Never fear if your ad's get
crossed out. It's my way of approving the entry and keeping track.
- Have ALL your advertisements in by the evening of 31st for them to be counted in to the competition.
- If you come across a site that you think is worthy of our looking into as far as for affiliates, please note that with the link to the site.
