Arc laid his head down and sighed with contentment. Their close proximity was awarding him with a cup of brimming warmth and it felt so good to feel it. "Yes Alei?" His voice was but a soft whisper when answering the femme that laid between his loving paws.

His heart was beating a steady rhythm. Arc was surprised how peaceful he felt being here like this, with a wonderful female in his embrace. He wondered if anything could feel better then this. Everything in his life was coming together and it was so heavenly.

Alei smiled as his voice spilled into the air, whispering her name. She began to second guess herself though, hesitating for the first time since she had met this male. Should she ask him this question? Yes. She had to, she had to know. Though, she still thought it was too soon. "Arctic..." She whispered his name again, giving her a little more time to think before she asked him the question that wouldn't live her mind. "You won't leave me, will you?" These weren't the exact words she had wanted to put into a sentence, but they were what seemed right at the moment.

She momentarily held her breath, as she waited for his response. Looking forward, she lay completely still, hoping she hadn't said the wrong thing. Though, she had only known this wolf for a day, she felt like he was everything to her. And that wasn't completely untrue. For now, he was everything to her. He was all she had. And she didn't want to lose him. She didn't want to lose the precious feeling when she was with him. She couldn't handle losing another so close to her...

Her words, her question, was as sweet as honey to the tongue. He would eagerly answer her question even though his voice was as smooth as silk. The moments now spent with this female was relaxing. They both seemed to equal in attitude and personality. Indeed they seemed to be a perfect match.

"You won't leave me, will you?" Arctic grinned, petting his paw down her frame as his tongue ran over her face, tracing over her one eye and then down beneath her ear. "Of course I won't leave you. I'm your Alpha now." Inwardly he chuckled. He knew what she meant but he wished for the teasing intimate tension to remain between them for a while. Arc wished to savor the first moments of not knowing and yet knowing fully with their hearts that they were going to be together.

Alei smiled, closing her eyes slowly as the weight of sleep pulled at her eyelids. She heard his words, and while they weren't exactly what she meant, they were reassuring. And for some reason hearing that he was her alpha gave her a strange and unexpected sensation. It felt nice that he was more dominant than her. She felt protected, safe... Leaning back, she pressed her head against his wide chest to let him know she hadn't fallen asleep yet. Feeling his paw move along her body, his tongue against her cheek and his breath on her neck, gave her a chilling sensation as well as a feeling of comfort. Her body shuddered then relaxed, and she could feel herself drifting off into sleep.

Arc to could feel sleep tugging at his mind and body but he wished to remain awake for as long as Alei was. Her frame against his own was the best thing that he had ever felt. Indeed what started out to be an uncertain meeting on this day was now blossoming into something more then the Alpha ever anticipated or expected.

Slumber would help him to sort things in his mind. Tomorrow he would wake refreshed and invigorated, knowing fully what he wanted with this female. But for now he knew what his heart wanted. Arc however did not want to make a hasty decision. Time was needed to think.

The male's broad chest began to slow it's pace. Clearly he had drifted into the land of dreams...
