I’m dying, praying Bleeding, and screaming. Am I too lost to be saved, Am I too lost? My god, My tourniquet Return to me salvation. Aurora walked slowly threw the meadow, testing every step before moving. Her grey eyes stared unseeingly at the area around her. Her auds prickled at each little sound that reached her highly sensitive ears. She turned her head to the left, in a direction that she had heard a loud snapping of a twig. Her ears trained on the subject in question, she listened to the footfalls, and gently breathing of the creature or creatures. She listened to the number of steps, and realized it was two animals, and judging by the sound of compact when ever the creatures stepped, it was a large and smaller one. As she listened, she realized it was a mother doe and baby fawn. A small bleating was heard, confirming her assumption. She listened, her head following the sounds, as the deer an in front of her, then back into the wood on the other side. A soft trickling of water alerted Eternal Aurora to a nearby creek, and Aurora suddenly realized just how thirsty she was. She carefully followed the sounds, walking slowly so as not to fall and hurt her self, listening as the sound of water gently walking over rocks brought her to the river bed. Lowering her head to the water, Aurora let the liquid cool her dry and parched throat. She hesitantly raised her head, then waded a little into the water, till she could feel it up to her knees. She let the water’s caress her legs for a few minutes, before trotting a little more trusting up to the land.Aurora raised her tiara to the heavens as a soft sigh escaped threw her lips. A Blind Femme…. A bad omen, at least in her dam’s eyes. The white femme sighed again, and silently wished for a blanket of snow to hide herself in. At least in the snow, she was over looked more often, except when her silvery eyes or silver crystals alerted equines of her presence. That, and the fact that her coat has a tendency to reflect the sun’s light, causing a sunrise, or sunset, effect to her coat. The pretty reds, oranges, pinks, blues, and purples often made up the hues of her white coat. She cursed her odd colouring, what had once been her pride and joy. Ever since the trouble with the stag, that had blinded her when he had been angry with her when she had refused him, she hated standing out and gaining attention from equines. Her name, too, was a reminder of what her life had been, what she once had and was. A slicing pain of sadness cut into her heart, and self pity temporarily handicapped all of her senses till she got the feelings under control. She hated piting herself as much as she hated others who pitied her. Aurora had been named after the odd tints that clung to her canvas, the colours so similar to the Celestial Lights and the Auroras that surrounded equines, only differing slightly, either by the equines talent or moods.Eternal Aurora walked slowly towards a large flowering tree, she had sensed a few feet away from where she had been standing seconds ago. She immediantly felt the temperature difference when she had stepped into the shadows, the temperature around her immediantly seemed to drop. Her brilliantly white coat, that held the wide array of tints was suddenly dulled to a light grey. Her eyes traveled imaginary horizon’s not really detecting anything. But then again, Who would ever seek out a Blind Femme.[/blockquote]

Twilight's Darkness The stag was walking, grass swaying and tickling his underbelly. It was growing dark. The day was dying and he felt as if he was dying with it. After arguing with the dark queen and he was still herdless. He was not in a good mood.
His noble head dropped, muzzle nearly brush the ground. His blue black coat had lost its luster and was covered with dust and grime from the roads. His step was usually proud and he usually pranced but now he plodded slowly, perfectly aware that the picture he cut was not at all appealing.
He nosed around in the grass, searching for a bit of food while the late spring wind whipped around him and chilled him through his thick fur. The grass was unappealing to him and he was too tired to eat. Then the wind brought good news.
Finally the head came up, mane streaming in the wind. He picked up his pace and headed toward the scent. His eyes bright and his feet moving in the familiar prance. He headed toward the scent and when he saw the giver of such scent he caught his breath.
In the dying light he could make out a mare, pelt white but even in the nearly dead light her pelt was so colored, like no other horse's ever had been. He was intrigued by this amazing color. His orbs scanned every part of her, marveling at her beauty and her differences. She was a fine mare, that much he could see.
He headed closer, waiting for her to see him, to either back away or step closer to get to know his scent, to learn about him. But even as he drew closer she did not stir. He was confused until he saw her eyes. They could not see, there was no way. She was blind, not like it bothered him any. A mare was a mare no matter what and if she had mad it this far he knew that her blindness couldn't hinder her. He snorted slightly and then spoke.
"Hello mare, I am Twilight's Darkness. Could I learn of your name?" he asked to lovely mare. He was interested in her. Very, very interested in her.

I’m dying, praying Bleeding, and screaming. Am I too lost to be saved, Am I too lost? My god, My tourniquet Return to me salvation. The Ivory fae jumped slightly when she heard a stallion speak out to her, and took a step back slightly, to distance herself from the animal more. She didn't trust stallions for good reason. She listened to his words, "Hello mare, I am Twilight's Darkness. Could I learn of your name?" he had asked. She was cautious, and thought about her words before replying, "I'm called Eternal Aurora, M'lord. But I answer to Aurora." She said politely. She didn't smile, and her ears were slightly laid back. her whole posture spoke of fears towards stags. And would make one wonder what had happened in her earlier life. She backed away another inch, before saying, "It is... nice to meet you, Twilight's Darkness." His name gave her chills. Who would name there foal... darkness. The nuetral femme was unsure, and decided against questioning it. She sighed softly, but unlike other equines when the were nervous, she couldn't look around, and focus on other things. Instead, she had to look down , angling her dial to the ground. Her long white fore tresses fell over her eyes, hiding her from veiw, just as she would hope. She didn't want the stallion to speak ill of her because of her eyes, nor did she want him staring at them. it made her nervous. She pawed lightly at the ground with a forehoof, gently leaving the softest incesion into the ground. Though she wished desperately for this stallion to leave her presence, and let her relax some, she was far to polite then to just say that. She also knew better then to think he would want her for anything then a mare to carry his seed. Stallions never wanted blind femmes at their sides. They were merely used to make their herds appear larger. She lifted her head back up, but her forelocks still covered them slightly. She waited to her his lyrics once more.[/blockquote]

Twilight's Darkness She was scared, he could tell by her expressions, her movements, her voice, her beautiful voice.
"Do not be afraid Eternal Aurora, do you mind Aurora? It is just easier to say. If you prefer your full name though..." he allowed teh sentence to dwindle off. She was worried and he wished that he could hear her thoughts, that he could sense her emotions. He knew that it was an impossible desire.
She had stepped away and he respected that, she was not easy or sleazy like so many mares, especially dark mares, that threw themselves at a stag. She seemed to stay away. Of course playing hard to get was amusing for only so long. As she backed off he longed to step closer, to bury his nose into that silky mane and just inhale her scent, but he would not disrespect her that way. He knew that mares could be fragile and if treated with care...well a stag might be rewarded and he was very interested in that.
But he forced those thoughts from his mind. He was rarely this perverted but spending so much time around mares had changed him. He wanted them so much now, especially the ones in season and it was spring, the time when mares went into heat, something all the stags in his former herd had spoken well of.
"Are you alone in this world?" he asked, not to seem intrusive but a blind mare alone seemed like it was asking for danger and she would be a wonderful creature to protect. And maybe, no he scolded himself. Those thoughts must not return to his head. The mare had just met him, he would not force himself upon her. Mares did not deserve that, they deserved care and patience. Of course once a dark stag with twisted thoughts, always a dark stag with twisted thoughts.

I’m dying, praying Bleeding, and screaming. Am I too lost to be saved, Am I too lost? My god, My tourniquet Return to me salvation. Aurora looked down in shame, when Twilight’s Darkness told her not to be afraid. Was she really that pathedic. To have to be called out upon it… Then He went on to ask if she preferred Eternal Aurora or Aurora. ”I… I prefer Aurora… Thank you.” She said softly, not even glancing in the general direction of the stallion. She didn’t want to know what he was thinking at this moment, nor did she care. She was just worried about how this…meeting would end. When she had taken her step back, she was thankful that stallion did not try to follow, to talk her into staying closer, and such… Or that he immediantly went right to her side. She let out a slight sigh, as silence seem to fall upon the two. And she wondered what was going threw Twilight’s Darkness’s mind… And if she really wanted to know… Probably not. Then the stallion spoke again, startling her. She had made the mistake of getting used to the silence, ”Are you alone in this world?” She stood straighter, to her full 15.2 hands height. ”I have managed well enough on my own, thank you… I don’t care whether I’m alone in such a world. After all… Who would care for a blind mare? My own dam refuses to accept me as her daughter now. She turned me away, after the…” She halted in midsentence. Not only had she given away the thing with her mother, but almost told how she was blinded. ”Accident…” She said, instead of, Disasterious stallion, in a rage, after I denied him. She had to be thankful for being blind though… It was easier to… Hide herself that way. To avoid seeing peoples reactions, and having your own follow, she was denied that nightmare. Along with the whole problem of having to look at an equine when they talked to you. She spoke again, ”Tell me Twilight’s Darkness. What is your reason for approaching a blind mare. And further more. Could you atleast give me 5 second warning before you leave me to defend for my self… Like ALL the other’s before you.” Her words were soft, and spoke with an almost sorrow. But she said no more now… Remaining silent, and waiting for the stag’s reply.[/blockquote]

He smiled at her answer. She was independent too. She was a wonderful mare. Never before had he thought that a handicapped, no she wasn't handicapped, blind mare could fend for herself.
When she said accident he wondered about it but didn't press. It was probably something she didn't want to discuss, and who would want to discuss something like that. His own mother had refused to talk about his father after he forced her.
At her full height she was barely shorter than he and he was pleased with that for some reason. He couldn't understand why but he was.
Her next words bothered him, leave her alone, by herself. Not bloody likely. He was going to find out all he could about this mare. She was interesting and actually said something other than taunts and insults. He liked that.
"My lady, I am here because I don't care about your blindness. It doesn't hinder you like it would most horses and you seem to be alive so you must be good at fending off predators your you would have been eaten long ago. As for leaving well we'll see about that. As of right now I am to ensnared by your beauty to leave."

I'm dying, praying bleeding, and screaming. Am I too lost to be saved? Am I too lost? My god, My tourniquet, Return to me salvation. Aurora listened intently, to every breath Twilight’s Darkness took, to every beat of his heart. Her auds pitched forward, eager to capture any sound that came from Twilight’s Darkness. But also her stance told of her… fear, or was it nervousness that came with being around another stallion. She wasn’t a stupid femme, Aurora knew what stags were capable of. And she would rather not be re-taught such a lesson.
Then he spoke, his words were almost confident, and they lifted her spirit slightly, not much but enough to coax the barest of smiles from her. He told her how he was here because he didn’t care about her blindness, and that he believed her to still be powerful, even with out her eyes. And how he was… captured by her beauty? Surely she miss heard that last part?
She tilted her head to the side, but didn’t really look his way, ”I’ve… I’ve never had such words uttered to me.” Her soft voice floated across the air, ”Even if I am still alive, sire, it doesn’t mean life is easy on me. I have merely had time to learn how to relive… with my slight… fault. My blindness may not hinder me, but it does… It does outcast me. Whether I like it or not. And it also…” A slight giggle escaped her, ”Gets you into some rather… unusual situations.”
The memory was one of her pleasant ones, when she had thought she had the blind problem under control. But she hadn’t been paying attention. She swore that horse came out of thin air. Just jumping straight at her from nowhere. Then she had to apologize for running into the equine, as the mare shushed her, saying it wasn’t a blinds fault if they couldn’t see.
But was it her fault? After all… It was her refusal of the stallion that caused this slightly troublesome problem. She didn’t realize she had hung her head with shame, and her face take on a vacant expression. Her words where soft when she uttered them. Lighter then a feather, ”Is it really… my fault I am blind?” It was the question she always had problems with. But when would she… she really know the answer?

He loved her voice. It was so wonderful. But what she spoke bewildered her.
"My lady you have never been told that you are beautiful. You are so entirely beautiful that it hurts to look upon your splendor," he tried to restrain the words flowing from him, afraid that she would think he was lying. He looked at her squarely, trying to show that he was not lying with his eyes.
"Then you are all the more wonderful. You have learned to deal with something most horses would kill themselves because of, why do you put yourself down. You are remarkable," he said sincerly.
When she asked him whether it was her fault he didn't know if she was speaking to him but he decided to answer.
"No horse is ever the cause of it's own blindness. Whatever happened to you, was not your fault. I am sure that what happened was either a mishap of your birth or an accident," he stated, to try and reassure her.

I’m dying, praying Bleeding and Screaming. Am I too lost to be saved? Am I too lost? My God, My tourniquet, Return to me salvation. XXAurora listened to the stallion, and slowly turned her head in his general direction. She let her mind open slightly, and could see Twilight’s Darkness’s Aura. It was a gift given my Namid, to be able to see an equine’s Aura, when ever she wished to. And now, she gazed at Twilight Darkness’s aura. It was a brillant red on the edges, that faded to a black in the center. It was indeed beautiful. Though still new with the gift, she was learning to weild it well. But it wasn’t a surprise when she accidently closedthe section of her mind, that made this sight possible.
XXShe smiled slightly when he called her remarkable for dealing with something others would kill them selves because. But her smile faded, and she looked down at the ground, when he said it couldn’t be her fault she was blind. She spoke her words softly.
XX “Twilight’s Darkness… I fear you are wrong. It was my own fault.” A sigh escaped her, and she went on, beginning to tell her story. “It was not a mishap of my birth… but… a version of an accident. I had been abondened young, by my mother. And had learned to raise myself alone. I kept to a black forest, that no equine in their right mind would enter. Or so I though. When I had just passed my second birthday, a stallion came wandering in and found me.
“I could see at this time, and knew immediantly what the lustful glint in his eyes meant. I could also see scars and strong muscles under and upon his coat. He came at me, demending me to return to his lands, as a mere toy for him to play with… I refused him… and…
“He lashed out at me. In his rage, the stallion had accidently struck my skull, and in the process, though I am unsure of how, blinded me. When he had seen what he had done, he laughed cruelly, and called me a worthless wench. He left me, bleeding and broken, saying that no one needs a blind mare in their herd, including him
“At first, when my wounds started to heal, I thought all would be okay, and that I would be able to survive with ease. And that my sight would return. But I soon realized this was but false hope. I had to relearn everything, only this time… as a blind. It was like starting out a foal in the world again.
“So you see, M’lord. It had to be my fault. If I hadn’t angered him…” Tears fell from her eyes, and her head fell, her crest bowed in shame, “I wouldn’t be the worthless mare I am now…” She admitted. A single tear rolled down her cheek, and she felt ashamed to show him this weakness.[/blockquote]

He watched the tear glisten and fall and he longed to wipe it away with his muzzle. He couldn't stop himself. He stepped closer to the beautiful mare and rubbed his muzzle along her face.
"Pretty Aurora, you have been so badly used, this isn't your fault and you are not worthless, you are a beautiful, selfless creature that I am glad to have had the pleasure to meet," he whispered into her ear.
He wanted this mare, with his soul but he would not, would not startle her. She had been abused harshly as a young one and he wouldn't hurt her like that abomination had. And blinding her when she refused him, who did that. Twilight's Darkness might have done such when he was much younger but now he realized that mares were not toys to be played with and used by stags.

I'm dying, crying, bleeding, screaming, Am I too lost to be saved? Am I too lost? My God, My Tourniquet, Return to me Salvation. XXAurora startled when she suddenly felt his maw upon hers, wiping away her tears. Never before had anyone taken such care of her, and she felt a slight smile fall onto her face, for merely a second, at the fact he cared enough. He spoke, whispering his words in her ear, "Pretty Aurora, you have been so badly used, this isn't your fault and you are not worthless, you are a beautiful, selfless creature that I am glad to have had the pleasure to meet." She tilted her dial in his general direction, and sighed,
XXSlowly she spoke her reply, "I thank you for your words, Twilight's Darkness. I... still do not know what to really think of that day, but it does make me feel better to know that someone does think it wasn't my fault." She admitted. She sighed softly, and wished she could see. So that she may be able to look at what the stallion who had was slowly making her see some good in life. She felt another trickle of a smile fall onto her face, "Still... atleast I'm not compeletely blind anymore... I went to Namid... a few days ago, and she granted a wish of mine," She said, and knew seh should probably explain. "I'm not able to see an equines Aura at will." She explained calmly, blushing as she did so.

She could see his aura, and suddenly he hoped that he had truly changed. Before meeting this mare and others he had been, nothing short of evil.
"Look into my aura Aurora, tell me what you see and if you have already than tell me that I am no longer what I once was. Do you see the darkness that I was named for? My mother always told me that I was dark, and I always believed her, but now..." he stopped letting his sentence trail off.
He could feel his heart pounding in his chest. This mare was so wonderfully beautiful and sweet, he wanted her so much but she had been so badly used. He wanted to heal her. If only he could help her overcome her fear and her hurt and her pain. He justed wanted to heal her.

I'm dying, crying Bleeding, and screaming Am I too lost to be saved? Am I too lost? My god, My tourniquet Return to me Salvation XXAurora listened as Twilight's Darkness asked her to look at his Aura, and let him know if he was still one of darkness. She smiled and opened her eyes again, this time, letting the magick that allowed her to see an equine's Aura flare. She smiled as she looked at him. Her eyes held a hue of baby blue now, as she looked at him. The slight color in her eyes, was the only reason she was able to see. And it was a reminder of her old life, the once beautiful eyes she had. But now they were silver.
XXShe smiled slightly, and looked at him again, "Twilight's Darkness... Your aura hold little darkness in it. It is beautiful really. It is black in the center, but not from darkness or evil, and it fades into a beautiful red, which..." She watched as the edges seemed to fade into an almost silver white. "Which fades into a silvery white. It is... truly beautiful." She admitted. XXShe blushed again. But she was still able to see his aura. And because of it... She could walk forward, and nuzzle him slightly. If it wasn't for the fact that she could see his aura, she wouldn't have been able to. "Really, if your mother named you Twilight's Darkness because you were dark, it rarely shows in your aura. I'd say your name... wasn't very fitting." she admitted. She didn't add about how his name gave her the shivers. It was odd to call him darkness. Dark maybe... But Twilight's Darkness. It just didn't seem to fit him.[/blockquote]

"Help me find a new name," he whispered. She had said that his aura was beautiful and when she nuzzled him, he was elated. She was so beautiful and so wonderfully sweet.
"Lovely Aurora, help me discover my true self. And come with me, I will have a home for you some day. Come and live in my kingdom, please Aurora," he said.
He ran his muzzle down her side, feeling the silkiness of her white fur. He loved the way it felt against his velvet muzzle. He breathed in her wonderful scent. He flared his nostrils and breathed deeper.
"You are so wonderful, so wonderful Aurora," he whispered again.

I'm dying, crying bleeding, and screaming Am I too lost to be saved, Am i too lost? My god, my tourniquet Return to me salvation. XXAurora smiled as he whispered to her, asking for her help to find a new name. Her smile both sweetened, and grew with each extra word he spoke, Lovely Aurora, help me discover my true self. And come with me, I will have a home for you some day. Come and live in my kingdom, please Aurora. Then she felt his muzzle run lightly down her side. She shivered lightly from his touch, but also welcomed it. It felt so good. he spoke again, his whispering was soft and gentle. You are so wonderful, so wonderful Aurora, She smiled, and nodded her head slightly, "Of course, I'll would love nothing more then to help you find your real self, as well as a name." She giggled, and added, "And, I'd would... love to come with you. I want nothing more then to do that." She admitted, blushing slightly. She looked at Twilight's Darkness. The name totally didn't fit. And with his aura... it was so fiery, like a blast. Her eyes sparkled as she giggled, "Your aura, I just realized. It looks like a blast of fire!" She said, before she could stop herself. She giggled again.
